I am Alan Rodic, an NVRG-registered systemic therapist. I help individuals, couples, families, children, adolescents and teenagers to recognise, understand and let go of patterns — from the context in which they arose.

About Systematika
Systematika was founded on 1 September 2023 and carries two meanings within it. Systematically: systematic and consistent working on a complaint — orderly, methodical, step by step. Systemic: working from systemic therapy, a field with sixty years of schools of thought and working methods, rooted in the belief that every human being is a fundamentally relational creature. The emphasis is on the interrelational — who you are is inextricably linked to who is around you.
Behavior does not arise in a vacuum. I always look at the system — the family, the relationship, the work environment — in which someone functions.
Patterns in relationships repeat themselves. By naming and understanding them, there is room for a new story — together or individually.
My stance is that of a curious guide. I ask questions that invite reflection, without steering towards a predetermined outcome.
Who is Alan
I see structures and connections where others miss patterns.
I am genuinely present — not as a neutral observer, but as a human being who is touched.
Tension and conflict are information. I help to read them without escalating.
What remains unsaid often determines the most. I make it open to discussion.
As a second-generation migrant, I know what it is like to move between worlds — a sharp eye for cultural context.
Humour relaxes. Empathy connects. Both are welcome in the therapy room.
I say what I see — kindly, but without beating about the bush. That builds trust.
Methodology
We will start with a no-obligation 30-minute introductory meeting. I will ask a few questions about your situation and you can ask me anything about my approach. Together we will see if we are a good fit.
In the first session, we will explore your request for help in depth. What is going on? Who are the important people in your system? Which patterns do you recognise? This forms the basis for what follows.
We embark on research together. I use techniques such as constellations, circular questions, and reflections to make patterns visible. Understanding the system is the key to change.
With the insights gained, you experiment — in sessions and in daily life — with new ways of responding, communicating and being. Small shifts have big effects.
We bring things to a conscious close. We look back at what has changed and how you can carry your new insights forward. The therapy ends, the story continues — with more space.
Experiences
"Alan helped me to see how my family patterns were playing out in my relationships at work. I would never have made that connection myself. The therapy has really moved me forward."
"As a couple, we were on the verge of calling it quits. Alan helped us understand that we were both reacting from our own systems. Now we finally feel heard by each other."
"Alan's approach is unlike anything I had tried before. He asks questions that make you think — not about what you are feeling, but about why. That was the key for me."
